The wide eyed rush of a great coffee and the buzz of good company.

Wide Eyes was built around the idea that coffee is more than a morning necessity, it's a catalyst for connection. The concept plays on the dual meaning of Wide Eyes: the alertness that follows a great cup of coffee, and the expressive, eye-raising reactions that naturally unfold during gossip with old friends, overheard conversations, first dates and unexpected encounters. Extending this through the idea of 'Sip & Tell', the brand celebrates not only caffeine, but the buzz of genuine, in-person connection in an increasingly online world. To express these values, the identity pairs a bold, recognisable wordmark with typography reminiscent of names scrawled on takeaway cups and notes jotted in notebook margins, deliberately analogue in a digital age, supported by expressive eye motifs and subtle illustrations that reflect the many expressions shared across the table. Thoughtful packaging and witty copy transform each touchpoint into an extension of the brand, turning everyday rituals into tangible moments and ensuring Wide Eyes remains as desirable to carry as it is to visit.

OUR ROLE:

Branding, Packaging, Illustration, Brand Language

The animated eyes carry a double meaning, widening with the first jolt of caffeine then darting sideways mid-eavesdrop to capture the shock, gossip and glances shared over every cup.
A brand should never stop at the door. We envisioned the Wide Eyes world with packaging, collateral and merch designed to keep the conversation going, turning customers into carriers of the brand long after the last sip.

"Working with Studio Nice One on Wide Eyes has been an incredible journey. What stood out most was how seamlessly they integrated with our team, it genuinely felt like they were an extension of the Food Studio brand rather than an external company. They cared deeply about the brand, challenged ideas thoughtfully and were invested in getting every detail right."
