An identity inspired by the unbreakable bond between parent and baby
Elegant Smockers partnered with us to unify and reposition their brand as a premium baby store with a recognisable identity, having experienced a wave of similar stores opening in the market. From humble beginnings hand-smocking garments in the founder’s kitchen, the brand has grown into three retail locations and a 15 year legacy supported by 200-300 home-based artisans. Inspired by the unbreakable bond between parent and baby, the identity centres on a ribbon motif symbolising care, continuity and love. We developed a distinctive, unisex colour palette to build strong brand recognition and refined the brand’s imagery to better represent the Sri Lankan consumer. Applied consistently across retail, packaging and digital touch points, the rebrand brings warmth and cohesion to the brand’s next chapter.
